I'm Andy Schofield, and I'm thrilled to join UnionizeCle.org, where union values have shaped my life since childhood. My father was a proud member of IBEW Local 38. My other family members-including two uncles who served as Union Cleveland Firefighters, another uncle in the Local Bricklayer's Union, and other relatives who served as Police Officers-also showed me the power of solidarity and collective action.

I began my Union career at the age of sixteen. My first Union involvement was with the UFCW for seven years working different positions at grocery stores. Later, I joined IBEW Local 38 as a Union Electrician, where I remain an active member. I am a member of IATSE Local 209 and sit on their Finance Board. I also held a Board position for AFTRA Cleveland and am currently serving as a board member for the SAG-AFTRA Ohio-Pittsburgh Local since their merger in

2013. Additionally, I hold two Delegate positions, National SAG-AFTRA and Ohio's North Shore AFL-CIO.
